Hello everyone!
This is a short note just to let everyone know that we have a few shows lined up toward the end of July and into early August that we want to make everyone aware of.
July 30 - BestBuy on Newbury Street- 360 Newbury Street in Boston, MA. It'll be a bit like our recent radio performance, where it's a little more on the quite side. We'll start around 2:30pm for about an hour.
Aug 5 - Newburyport, MA Yankee Homecoming Festival Waterfront Stage. A fun outdoor show in a great location for a cool festival. If you're in the area, stop by. Again, we're on around 2:30 until around 4pm.
Aug 6 - The big one. We'll be at Church. No, not that kind of church, the live music club. Our first show at Church Rock Club for a while. The room is killer, and if we're to be completely honest, we've had some of our better performances here. It's a Saturday night, there'll be some good bands playing, so come on out and show some support. 69 Kilmarnock St., Boston, MA. It's in the Fenway area.
Those are the updates for now. Thanks!

Take Me Back To Manhattan...
...Take me back to New York.
Boston is our home, but City of Squares loves playing in the City That Never Sleeps. It makes us feel all sophisticated-like and it doesn't hurt that our crash pad near the city has a view of the NYC skyline that you'd think was lifted straight from a tourist's postcard.
We'll be back there this weekend, playing on Friday, June 11th at The Alphabet Lounge, a new spot for us. The venue is on the- you guessed it- Lower East Side (104 Avenue C, to be exact) and we play at 9pm, so you'll have plenty of time to catch the show and grab a few drinks before hitting the mean streets. We know how much you love to party, and we hope you'll party with us.
After that, it's back to Boston and on to an exciting event on Monday night (June 13th.) From 9pm-10pm we'll be playing a live, stripped-down set on 95.9 WATD's show, South Shore Live, hosted by Lisa Azizian. We met Lisa last winter and not only is she a super cool chick, but she really knows her stuff and is a huge supporter of original artists everywhere! You can check out and listen to WATD here:http://959watd.com/ and we hope you'll tune in on Monday night to hear it. There's an hour of awesome music before our set, and you never know what might happen when we play. This will be our first live "acoustic" set ever, and we can wait to show you the new versions of the tunes that we've been working on!
On another note, thanks so much to everyone who came out to our show and rocked it like nobody's business at The Middle East last weekend. You guys made the night one for the books! (Disclaimer: we may have also had greasy diner food post-show while sitting next to a few strippers who had just gotten off work, which was pretty entertaining, too.)
Signing off now- see you in NYC!
-Jenna, Jon, John, and Bill
